(Bismarck ND) Stylists at Identity Salon participated in the North Dakota St. Baldrick’s Event by shaving heads of volunteers who raised money towards funding childhood cancer research. This is yet another example of our commitment to practicing servant leadership in the community.
(Bismarck ND) Stylists at Identity Salon joined an expert group of Pureology Serious Colour Care stylists as certified Pureologists. As a Pureologist, the stylists will provide clients with professional Pureology treatments and services, advanced finishing techniques, and new product information.
“We are thrilled to welcome the staff of Identity Salon to the Pureologist network. Pureologists benefit with extensive understanding of the luxury consumer, Pureology concepts, product awareness, and tips and techniques to create the latest hair trends, ” states Steven Henley, Director of Education for Pureology. “The staff at Identity Salon will receive on-going communication from Pureology including new products, new educational offerings, and the latest media and events buzz to share with clients.”
To become a Pureologist, the staff of Identity Salon participated in a one-day interactive experience, immersing themselves with everything Pureology. The class provided first hand knowledge of the Pureology core concepts and values, product knowledge and treatments.

They attended the 2011 Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, NV, and has brought back the latest haircare, styling, and haircolor techniques and inspiration to Bismarck!

For three days, the Identity Salon team, together with other salon professionals from all over the world, was inspired by world-renowned educators in the industry. Classes included Color & Elegance, where attendees learned to ready clients for their own red carpet event; 360 Degree Finishing, where avant-garde styles were “undressed” so stylists can translate them for their clients; and Rut Rebellion where stylists were encouraged to breakout of their rut and be inspired by new tools and techniques.

The salon was recently voted the Bismarck Tribune Reader’s Choice “Best of the Best” Hair Salon in Bismarck Mandan for 2010! This is the third consecutive award for Identity Salon as we were also recognized for this prestigious award in 2008 and 2009!
