The Identity Salon Team Helped Break World Record!

The Identity Salon team participated in a Guinness World Records event – “The World’s Largest Hands-On Workshop” with a total of 556 cosmetologists all cutting hair at the same time. Peel’s Salon Services hosted the first event of this magnitude, in conjunction with their 2010 Spring Show. The Guinness World Records event shattered the previous record of the “Most People Cutting Hair”.
Our licensed Cosmetologists joined Phillip Wilson, the Global Creative Director for FHI Heat, and the entire educational team from six Xenon International Academies, to set the world’s record. Their cuts were performed on live models simultaneously for 15 minutes. Each participant received a professional certificate of attendance.
This event has created quite a stir in the professional salon industry. When asked why this is such an exciting event, our stylists said that “This type of challenge and comradery is what our profession is all about.”
The “World’s Largest Hands-On Workshop” will definitely be an event that the Identity Salon team will want to share with you!
Identity Salon Team Trains in Omaha

Identity Salon believes in continuing education! The Identity Salon team headed to Omaha, NE for the Peel’s Salon Services – Spring Show 2010!
The team experienced classes, presentations, product demonstrations, and learned the latest trends in hair cuts and color techniques for 2010 – all to make you look good! The Spring Show is an annual continuing education event for the team of Identity Salon. This event is the largest beauty show in the Midwest.

Identity Salon and St. Baldricks!

Tina will be shaving heads to help conquer children’s cancer through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. She is a member of the MDUR ‘Bald as a Light Bulb’ team.
The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, in the Brightside room at MDU Resources located at 1200 W. Century Avenue in Bismarck.
The team’s goal …is to raise critical funds for childhood cancer research. Heads will be shaved on St. Patrick’s Day in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. If you don’t want to shave your whole head but would like donate 10″ or more, you can do that also in conjunction with Locks of Love.
